Martin Luther King has provided us with so many challenging statements and in them so much truth. The trouble we have is that we continue to associate them with a single issue. An American Issue. We do not see their value for a bigger concern.
We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.

Tony Ord, an Oxford academic, has formed a society called Giving What We Can aimed at encouraging individuals to donate at least 10% of their earned income to what he calls “efficient charities”. This article takes a look at the wider implications of Tony’s society.
