I wonder sometimes if we have become too happy to live a life without real consequences. Do our world leaders fight for our self-interest and not our responsibilities? Looking at the probable outcomes of the COP15 conference it appears so. (Warning some strong language).
Its an observable fact that, like Dr Frankenstein, we can often end up serving what we have created.
When scientists don’t agree we are left in a bit of a hole, after all they are the experts. And I wholly support questioning the accepted answers where there is room for doubt. I’ve been aware of the Global Warming debate for ages and the two extremes of “Man is creating a catastrophe” and “Chill its just natural”. And the debate rages on it seems. But are we missing the point?
