Post-Consumer Action
Came across a brilliant site called Unconsumption where what struck me was its definition of itself …
The Creator Serves the Created
Its an observable fact that, like Dr Frankenstein, we can often end up serving what we have created.
Should we be afraid of the scientists?
When scientists don’t agree we are left in a bit of a hole, after all they are the experts. And I wholly support questioning the accepted answers where there is room for doubt. I’ve been aware of the Global Warming debate for ages and the two extremes of “Man is creating a catastrophe” and “Chill its just natural”. And the debate rages on it seems. But are we missing the point?

Can Sustainability Create Disruptive Technology?
Can the need for sustainability really hit the market with products that cause us to leave behind unsustainable lifestyles?
Untrustworthy Leadership – we need to think not merely judge.
We all know the sad end for the boy who cried wolf – his voice and opinion was not trusted and he was swallowed up – but I have a feeling that the wolf the government is announcing now may have an appetite for more than the shepherd boy.
What Leadership Skills Solve This?
The likelihood of food, water and energy shortages resulting from massive population growth and increasing expectations among the developing nations is a given, though timescales are always questionable.
The real question is what sort of leaders can help us solve the potential disasters?
@ Home with Energy
I’ve been increasingly thinking about energy for the home, how to make it greener, but also how to be more resilient to the likely challenges we face alongside Peak Oil and the like.
Royalty makes sense?
guess I take royalty with pinch of salt. I’ll be honest – I sometimes groan when I see something in the news about what he has said or done.
Except his Richard Dimbleby lecture makes some incredibly valuable points.
